nothing compares

Friday evening… sipping on green tea (I could write a post about how much I love green tea… hmmm, maybe soon I will :) )…

…I wrote earlier about some of my interests/passions/things that excite me… and I re-read the post and thought, “Wow… I almost forgot… I am pretty cool.”  Then, I wrote this…. :) xo

what breathes life into us…

I am feeling the urge for an adventure… I am thinking this weekend I want to dress up and cruise around town in cute outfits with my husband/photographer and document our travels… no matter how “local” the travels are… who says you have to go far to find adventure? :) (and even if it is raining… florida summers= unbearable heat or thunder, lightning, and rain:))

ALSO-!!!!! A new link has been added to deliciously alive! For now it says “Dorothea Mills” (which may or may not change)…. the name of one of the most important people in my life. An amazing woman who I love dearly and who I connect with on a soul level. She is currently en route to Harbour Island in the Bahamas and will be sharing thoughts, pictures, and whatever else flies from her fingers :) In time I hope to link many more deliciously alive souls to this site. :)

Along with my bloggings, writings (rantings :) ), and drawings… I want to add more of what touches my soul on this site…

* My love for makeup and eyeshadow (especially MAC)… my pale and sensitive skin has always been a love/hate issue for me and makeup was another way to express myself (and smooth away/distract from blemishes :) )

* I want to further develop my love for fashion… It has ALWAYS been a part of me and I feel like with this venue I can really expand and get that PUSH to share and discover.

* MUSIC. such a vital part of my life— I was raised on classic rock… was an angsty, grunge loving teen ( i <3 you, kurt)… and now have a love for those genres as well as 80's music, electronic, indie, new wave… etc.

* movies/tv… although I was an avid reader as a child and as a young adult (babysitter’s club, r.l. stine, christopher pike, etc.- FAV books- The Giver, Geek Love, Beautiful Losers) with the hectic-ness of life, movies and tv shows just make the cut nowadays…. one movie that influenced my style- Teen Witch!… and all time FAVORITE shows… LOST, Battlestar Galactica, and most recently GAME OF THRONES!!!!!!!!!!! WINTER IS COMING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

this blog has me unfolding in so many dimensions… and without effort :) I can only hope that it touches even one person out there…
